insight meditation

In this group, we practice insight or vipassana meditation. Vipassana means to see things as they are. It is the practice of staying mindful or aware of our experience as it is. Self-transformation is made possible by self-knowlegde. Instructions are given in the first 15 minutes and the meditation is for 45 minutes. We listen to a talk by various teachers and/or have a discussion and drink free Chai. The talks revolve around a theme that changes each month. The group is led by Melissa. All are welcome.
