meditation

brooklyn dharma punx

Mondays 7:00-8:30pm (begins August 1st)

The group will be led by Josh Korda, assisted by Melissa McKay, and will consist of an opening guided Vipassana meditation followed by a talk and time for your questions to be answered. Vipassana means to see things as they are. The practice is the cultivation of one's ability to stay aware in the present moment.

sunday night insight

This group is led by Melissa McKay and consists of a 45 minute unguided Vipassana meditation. Instructions are given in the beginning and a talk or discussion is done for the last hour. Beginners are very welcome but may find 45 minutes challenging.
